Canada’s wildfire smoke prediction system (FireWork) daily smoke forecast maps

The FireWork system, created by the Government of Canada, predicts daily air quality over 72 hours following wildfire events detected by satellites. Air quality forecast maps, as PM2.5 concentrations, are made to show the predicted paths of wildfire smoke across regions. The predictions are based on anticipated wildfire emissions and regional weather forecasts, leaving room for uncertainty in the forecasts.
